God Was Not Made For Us

Our personal experience of the mercy of God cannot, and must not, come from preachers, writers, prophets, but from the living God as the Author of our grace.

Grace does not give us all we’ve ever wanted; it gives us all we will ever need. God was not made for us; we were made for God’s grace.

We must recognize the grace by which we are saved, and let it be that grace that binds us together as we proclaim it to a world that knows it not.

Grace needs to spread among us like a virus, which can never be cured!
