Thank you for joining us this morning as we dive into this new series. If we are created in the image of God, then the truest understanding of relationships comes NOT from studying people but looking to God Himself.

Don’t expect the people in your life to provide what only the Trinity can. Human relationships are most beautiful when purpose, identity, and joy have already been found in one’s relationship with God (vertically), rather than solely through others.

When our hearts are first anchored in God, we can appreciate others for who they are, not for what we hope they’ll give us.
