Peace Is Better Than Riches…

“We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall… Better a dry crust eaten in peace than a house filled with feasting—and conflict.” (Proverbs 16:33–17:1)

What good is abundance if there is no peace?
What value is wealth if relationships are broken?
What profit is success if it costs us the people we love most?

The reality is that money cannot buy happiness. It cannot buy contentment. It cannot buy peace. In fact, when the pursuit of money becomes the focus of our lives, it often creates the very things we were hoping to avoid—anxiety, competition, resentment, division, and conflict.

God’s kingdom works differently. He teaches us to value what He values. Peace is better than prosperity. Relationships are more important than riches. Character is more valuable than comfort.
