What Does God Get Out of Worship?

This is a vital question because some people suggest that a God who desires worship might be narcissistic and incomplete.

Why would a perfect being need anything from us? For me, the answer is clear: God doesn’t need anything from us.

Worship isn’t a demand from Him; in fact, all my experiences with heartfelt worship have shown me the opposite.

Rather than concentrating on what we can offer Him, God is generous and actively gives to us.

In His presence, I feel love, peace, and joy. I receive guidance, and yes, I express my admiration, but not because He asks for it.

It’s simply a natural response from my heart, and in that moment, it’s an act of vulnerability and surrender that helps me break down my walls and be fully present!
