Worship the Lamb or Entertain the Sheep?

In many places, the sanctuary has transformed into a stage, the minister has become a talk-show host, and worshipers have become merely an audience.

Worship is not about programs or musical styles. It is an authentic response to a Savior who heals, delivers, and forgives.

There is no substitute for time at the feet of the Savior. Corporate worship as a body is essential, but it is pointless and empty, apart from the worship lifestyles of the body members.

We can hire the most outstanding worship leader, back them with a symphony orchestra, and hire the finest mix of backup singers that money can buy, but we cannot purchase worship.

It is a response of love and devotion and can no more be purchased or contrived than these affections themselves!

The heart of worship is at the feet of Jesus.
