Worship’s Hydrological Cycle

Worship’s Hydrological Cycle

Solomon wrote these words, Eccl 1:7 All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, they return again.

Solomon is talking about the hydrological cycle. Water comes down from the sky in the form of rain, snow, and ice. This water fills the river and flows down to the seas. The sun evaporates the water and returns it to the clouds. Then, it is dropped on the earth once more.

Worship operates the same way. The praise and worship in our hearts flow out to God as worship. It goes back to the source.

All true worship begins with God, flows to and through us, and rises back to God. It is a Divine cycle.
