Thank you for joining us this morning at Genesis Church, Orlando. May God touch your life as we dig deeper into The Story of Job. If I were Job’s pastor, how would I pray for him, how would I counsel him? What would I say to him? What would I expect from him? This week, you will be someone’s pastor who is suffering and needs an answer. What will you tell them?
God is sovereign over all things, and He is worthy of our worship even when we do not understand what He is doing in our lives. This is the central principle of the Book of Job, which wrestles with God’s sovereignty in the face of human suffering.
The book of Job has three parts: the dilemma, the debates, and the deliverance.
